Cookie Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

This policy explains how zf-b.com uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels) — what they do, why they're used, and how you can control them. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They let a site remember information about your visit — such as your preferences — and they can also be used to measure how the site is used.

2. Categories I use

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function — for example, remembering your cookie choice itself, or keeping you signed in if you use an authenticated area. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent under UK/EU PECR and GDPR.
  • Analytics (optional). If enabled, these help me understand aggregate usage — pages viewed, rough geography, referrers — to improve the site. They are only set after you opt in via the cookie banner.
  • Marketing / advertising. Not currently used. If this changes, this policy and the banner will be updated, and your consent will be requested before any such cookies are set.

3. Current cookies and storage

At the time of writing, this site sets:

  • cookie-consent-v1 — local storage entry recording your cookie choice. Strictly necessary. Stored until you clear it or revoke consent.

If analytics are later enabled, the specific providers and cookie names will be listed here before any optional cookies are placed.

4. Your choices

When you first visit the site you'll see a banner allowing you to accept or reject optional cookies. You can change your decision at any time:

  • Use the button below to re-open the cookie banner and update your preferences.
  • Clear cookies and site data for this domain in your browser settings.
  • Configure your browser to block or warn about cookies generally — see aboutcookies.org for guidance.

5. Changes to this policy

If the cookies in use change — for example when analytics or another optional category is enabled — this page will be updated and, where required, your consent will be requested again.
